Makeup and Skincare Tips for oily skin

Ladies ladies. With it being so hot and humid out lately I just HAD to address this.

I myself have oily skin and I know how my face can get in this weather. Very frustrating. Either we look great at 8am -

then look a hot mess by 1pm, or it is just hopeless to find a product that works for us.

Well I’m here with some tips and products to help you looking gorgeous throughout the day in this miserable weather :)

Skin care routine:

DO use WARM water to wash your face

DO use an oil-free moisturizer (see recommended products below)

DO use pure soap (no artificial additives)

DO use a WATER-BASED toner (restores skin’s PH – see blow)

DO use products only designed for oil skin.

DO drink plenty of water

DON’T over wash your face. 2-3 times is fine, but anything more will over dry you skin. This can cause you glands to produce more oil.

Your skin has a natural PH balance of 5.5. Look for products that have roughly the same PH balance. Anything more (around 10+) can seriously irritate you skin.
